Acknowledgements

Of all the creative endeavors I’ve participated in, none has received such excitement and enthusiasm as this project. I can’t possibly acknowledge all of the people who have been supportive of this endeavor, including family, friends, consulting colleagues, clients, teachers, and fellow pianists, but I would like to make special mention of a few people, apologizing in advance for any inadvertent omissions.

Thank you to…

My many music teachers, most notably Sheila Nachlis, Ann Vanko Liva, Debbie Sobol,  Rami Bar Niv, George Lopez, Polly Van Der Linde, and Thomas LaRatta.

My family, Ilana Finer, Judy Popky, Janet and Marty Popky, Florence and Larry Finer, and Mitchell Finer.

My piano family, Denise Peck, Sherrie Osborne, Madeleine Le, and Paul Hsieh. Together we are 4 Babes and a Kiddo.

Alan Weiss and his community of outstanding world class consultants, most notably my accountability partners and friends Robbie Kellman Baxter, Curtis Bingham, Constance Dierickx, Seth Kahan, Kathy Kingston, Simma Lieberman, Lisa McLeod, Libby Wagner, and Scott Wintrip.

My good friends Linda and Bob Abramovitz, Heidy Braverman and David Skinner.

The Sonata Family and staff, all of my Sonata compatriots through the last 11 years. Special thanks to Carol Barth, for providing a wonderful example for me to emulate.

And last, but not least, Mocha the Dog, my musical muse, who not only listened to all of these pieces many, many times, but howled along to several of them in his own inimitable style.
